innoVi Enterprise Launch – We Have Liftoff!

Agent Vi proudly announced the launch of innoVi Enterprise in September. innoVi Enterprise is Agent Vi’s Deep Learning-powered video analytics software that includes a comprehensive range of real-time detection rules and Agent Vi’s autonomous real-time Anomaly Detection capability.

The cutting-edge Anomaly Detection capability is continuously self-learning, does not require any pre-definition or configuration by the operator, and instantly alerts users to irregular incidents in real-time. This is particularly valuable for complex scenarios or very large installations where standard detection rules can’t be applied.

Within innoVi Enterprise, Agent Vi’s object classification methodology can classify and distinguish between persons, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, and static objects. Furthermore, it is a centrally managed software, available as an Agent Vi Hosted (cloud) service or as a Customer Hosted (on-premise) solution.

innoVi Helps Remote Guarding Station, Eyeforce, to Detect Intruders, Prevent Damage & Losses

Agent Vi recently published a customer story about Houston, Texas-based remote guarding station Eyeforce, an early adopter of innoVi Remote Guarding.

Eyeforce sought a highly accurate video analytics solution for optimal detection of perimeter breaches and suspicious behavior at the remote sites that they monitor. innoVi has been deployed at dozens of remote sites and cameras become innoVi-enabled in minutes, each defined with specific detection rules including perimeter breach and sterile zone monitoring applications for people and vehicles, as well as loitering.

innoVi’s accurate, reliable alerts impacted Eyeforce’s operation immediately. Multiple arrests have been made and dozens of thefts have been averted. The fact that innoVi detects intruders in the approach zone or at the entrance to the sites allows for quick action by Eyeforce, and the avoidance of substantial damage / theft.

Eyeforce CEO Daniel Forrest stated: “The detection accuracy and false alarm rate is one of the best that I have seen to date. We are constantly testing and searching for the best video intrusion detection products out there, and innoVi sets the bar very high.

Intel Showcases Agent Vi at IoT Solutions World Congress

Agent Vi was invited to demonstrate innoVi at the Intel booth at the IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) in Barcelona – the biggest global event for industrial IoT solutions. In addition, Agent Vi CTO Zvika Ashani presented at the Intel opening session about how innoVi has been enhanced by Intel’s OpenVINO toolkit.

Ashani said, “We’re deploying Intel-based appliances to the edge and connecting the users’ networks to the innoVi service. Recently, we’ve integrated these appliances with Intel OpenVINO to perform Deep Learning inference at the edge and we’re getting a 5x improvement in camera capacity using the exact same hardware.” Intel’s vision accelerator cards improve performance even further, he noted. “Because of OpenVINO’s easy portability, we were able to port to the new hardware in days with initial benchmarks showing an additional 2x improvement over the 5x, a 10x improvement overall.”

“OpenVINO allows us to deploy less hardware and get the same number of cameras and that, in turn, translates to savings for our customers and improved ROI.”

innoVi Remote Guarding Expands Market Reach

innoVi Remote Guarding is Agent Vi’s video analytics Software as a Service (SaaS) that delivers accurate, automatic, real-time detections of security breaches at remote sites with immediate video verification. innoVi Remote Guarding has expanded its reach to encompass not only the CMS/ARC market but also organizations with their own security operations centers, enabling more sites to be monitored with an increased level of security but without requiring an increase in the number of security staff.

Agent Vi In the News

Where is video analytics headed? Future directions for Agent Vi’s technology were discussed in an in-depth interview with Agent Vi CTO Zvika Ashani in the August edition of Professional Security magazine. Among the topics raised: Deep Learning, hosted services versus on-premise, current and future applications, and how Smart Cities can use video data to improve safety and security.

In another interview, this time with SDM Magazine, Ashani predicted that “Most video analytics will be deployed in the cloud within the next couple years or so.” But why wait? Agent Vi’s innoVi cloud-based video analytics SaaS is already available and in use. In an in-depth SDM article about AI’s impact on the security industry, Ashani expanded on the topic, and also listed 6 key questions to ask when considering whether to implement AI.

innoVi Updates

innoVi is Agent Vi’s unique, centrally managed video analytics solution powered by cutting-edge Deep Learning technology, that enables unparalleled detection accuracy. innoVi’s Deep Learning algorithms actively and continuously learn how to categorize objects with precision, allowing innoVi to distinguish between people, vehicles, static objects, and even between cars, motorcycles, bicycles, buses and trucks.

innoVi transforms any ONVIF / RTSP fixed IP / analog camera into an intelligent video device, uncovering otherwise hidden incidents, insights and information.

New features are added to innoVi on an ongoing basis to make this already user-friendly product even more easy to use. For innoVi’s real-time detection rules, an option has been added for “Holiday Schedules” that allow users to define monitoring hours for special days during which the video analytics should be active. The holiday schedule overrides the recurring weekly schedule, and thereby avoids the need to alter the regular schedule for special events / holidays.

Additionally, innoVi can now deliver detection information for multiple time zones, which is valuable for innoVi accounts that have sites across different time zones. In this regard, the operator will have insight into the local time of the event detected, as well as being able to see the time zone at the operator’s location.
