Agent Vi and Connex International Announce Cooperation on Video Analytics Training

August 11, 2010

Connex International, Inc to deliver certification training to Agent Vi’s Channel Partners worldwide

Agent Video Intelligence (Agent Vi), global leader in video analytics solutions, has partnered with Connex International to deliver training to Agent Vi’s expanding channel network. The programs will focus on sales and technical training on Agent Vi’s comprehensive suite of video analytics solutions: Vi-Search – Agent Vi’s newest product, an innovative search and analysis tool for stored video, and Vi-System – Agent Vi’s real-time detection and alert software.

The increasing global reliance on surveillance systems has prompted an increase in demand for video analytics, which add value to a surveillance network by offering security, safety, forensic and business intelligence applications, among others. Connex and Agent Vi are responding to this increased demand by providing thorough education and instruction in this field, delivering Agent Vi’s leading solutions to IP video professionals who seek to enhance their customers’ installations and enable them to reap the true benefits of their surveillance networks.

In recent years, the team at Connex International has been responsible for delivering training worldwide to resellers of market leading manufacturers in the video surveillance field. Similarly, training courses on Agent Vi’s solutions will be offered initially in the Americas and EMEA, in open enrollment classes or dedicated classes at customer sites.

“As our global sales channel network continues to expand, it is important to be able to provide prompt, high quality training to all of our sales channels, and provide them with the tools to be effective when selling and installing Agent Vi’s video analytics products,” said Itsik Kattan, CEO of Agent Vi. “This is the first time that a video analytics provider has undertaken a mission of educating a global market, and we feel that the combined strengths of Agent Vi and Connex make such a mission possible.”

“With the security industry moving towards standardized integrations between video surveillance systems and camera sensors, security resellers are looking for additional value added technologies like analytics and metadata search engines,” explained Keven Marier, CEO of Connex International, Inc. “The partnership between our organizations will ensure that both technical engineers and sales professionals are certified to competitively design, engineer and support existing and new installations that will differentiate Agent Vi resellers from the low value commodity offerings available from providers whom are not trained or certified.”

Connex will be delivering certification training on Agent Vi’s products starting in August 2010, in a variety of languages. For information about upcoming training courses, please contact certification@agentvi.com or visit Agent Vi’s website www.agentvi.com
