Training & Certification
Training courses (open classes) are conducted periodically across different territories, and in relevant languages. Alternatively, dedicated training programs can be arranged for specific Channel Partners / customers, at their preferred location.

Agent Vi sells and delivers its products through its wide network of Channel Partners, comprised of both local and global Distributors and System Integrators. Agent Vi requires its Channel Partners to possess sufficient knowledge and expertise in the design, installation and support of surveillance systems which employ Agent Vi’s video analytics products. Accordingly, Agent Vi created a global training & certification program which provides comprehensive training on Agent Vi’s technology and products.
All Systems Integrators must complete the training program in order to become “Certified” partners of Agent Vi. The certification program is comprised of 3 days of instruction (9am-5pm), including training workshops and practical labs. Day 1 provides a general overview of Agent Vi’s products and is suitable for both sales/marketing and technical staff. A certification test will be held at the end of Day 1, and passing of the test will result in “Agent Vi Solution Professional” certification. Day 2 and Day 3 focus on the technical elements of Agent Vi’s products, from system architecture to installation requirements, configuration, integration with video recording systems, and more. A certification test will be held at the end of Day 3, and passing of the test will result in “Agent Vi Solution Integrator” certification. Note: Effective September 20, 2011, BICSI recognizes Agent Vi Solution Integrator training for BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs) - see the next tab for more info.
Participation in the “Agent Vi Solution Integrator” course entitles the partner to send sales/marketing staff to the “Agent Vi Solution Professional” course, for no extra cost (1 sales/marketing staff member will receive free entry for every paying participant for the 3-day program.)
Successful completion of the “Agent Vi Solution Integrator” (3-day) course entitles the relevant organization to become a “Certified” Partner of Agent Vi, which enables that partner to undertake selling, maintenance and support of Agent Vi’s products, and also enables membership in Agent Vi’s Channel Partner Program.
Distributors, particularly those that serve as “Value-Added Distributors”, are also encouraged to undergo the training course.
- Training courses are available worldwide, in over a dozen languages. Dedicated courses at your or your customer’s site may also be arranged (see previous tab for list of upcoming courses)
- Successful completion of the training course will qualify you as a certified reseller
- Re-certification is required once every 2 years
- A company must have at least 1 person certified at all times in order to maintain the company’s certification status
- Agent Vi appreciates the partner’s investment in the training and certification process, and grants each participant in the training course with a software credit (see below).
Software Credit
Agent Vi understands that partnership is a two-way street. And so, to demonstrate Agent Vi’s appreciation for the partner’s investment in the training program, Agent Vi will award each partner that becomes certified with a credit for the course cost, that can be used on an upcoming order (software only). The credit is valid for 1 year, and there is a maximum credit amount.
